Absolute Innocence and the Judgement-Cycle

Begin with this: every life is absolutely innocent.

That does not mean every act is harmless, or that consequences cease to matter. It means no act begins inside one life alone.

Even a repeated wrong is where many tributaries meet: earlier harms, fear, deprivation, habit, social pressure, inherited structures, distorted incentives, surrounding choices and moments when a better pathway could not be seen. Repetition may mean those tributaries have carved a deep channel. It does not make the life itself identical to everything flowing through it.

This can sound like excusing the wrong. It is closer to seeing it clearly. Responsibility marks the point where the act entered the world; absolute innocence remembers that this point is not the whole river.

Once done, the wrong becomes a tributary too.

One bitter word worsens another person’s day. The strain enters their next conversation. Trust weakens; someone withdraws, retaliates or carries the pressure elsewhere. One occurrence becomes part of what later culminates in another.

Scale that across families, workplaces, cultures and centuries.

The original moment may be forgotten while its wake keeps consuming attention, health, cooperation, therapy-hours, security, enforcement and labour. A wrong becomes a ground-zero of continuing cost. Its consequences become tributaries to further wrongs, whose consequences spread again. The moment passes; its bill keeps arriving.

As these bills accumulate, demand for inexpensive resolution grows.

This is why judgement carries such power.

A past wrong establishes precedence. Guilt, blame and shame can then function like virtual debt: grounds for demanding admission, repayment, obedience, exclusion, labour, restriction or surrender. Something difficult to procure normally may suddenly appear available because taking it from the judged life seems deserved.

Crude versions already surround daily life. Courts, policing, confinement, institutional records, public reputation and behavioural assessment convert accounts of the past into present permissions, restrictions and obligations. At times they limit harm. At other times, convenience and advantage become difficult to distinguish from resolution.

Still, the attraction is real. Where an old wrong continues producing conflict, fear, defensive labour or loss of trust, reaching its ground-zero may appear to release capacities trapped in the wake: fewer disputes to contain, fewer hours spent coping with repetition, less order-keeping and more usable human effort.

The amount of latent fulfilment hidden behind unresolved consequences may be immense.

Now add what is already becoming available: joined records, behavioural traces, large datasets and AI inference. Events once kept apart can be connected. Downstream effects can be traced back toward earlier causes. Increasingly intimate sensing may move nearer to neurological patterns and memory. Within a spiritual understanding, continuity may extend further still, through impressions carried by lives or left as soul-imprints.

Nothing here proposes such a system. Existing demand and existing capacity are already drawing toward one another. The past is becoming easier to search, attribute and consume as a pathway toward present fulfilment.

Only then does the darker image come into view:

History begins to resemble an oil field.

Old wrongs become drilling sites. Precedence opens access. Judgement reaches into the continuing wake and draws out admission, compliance, attention, restriction, restitution, man-hours and resources.

At greater depth, it resembles fracking fulfilment from the soul-imprints of the past - breaking into buried layers of consequence to release whatever appears trapped there.

From a distance, this may look like light: accountability, healing, justice, conscience and the cleaning-up of history.

Closer to the lives carrying the extraction, it may look very different.

Where several factors benefit from the same presentation, each layer can reinforce the next. Records are interpreted through prior assumptions; reactions are read through the record; institutional agreement then validates the interpretation. An oppression-bubble forms around a version of events that preserves advantage while making contradiction appear suspect.

Fragments may be presented as wholes. Context may be removed. A person may be pressured until producing the reaction later consumed as proof. Memory may be shaped by the manner in which it is reached. One life may be made to carry precedence belonging elsewhere.

That will probably be misused.

Some factors trying to avoid their own consequences may even benefit from making judgement visibly false, cruel or excessively lossful. A substitute target carries the cost; the process becomes associated with horror; and people begin rejecting consequence-resolution itself.

That is the collapse-consequences hack: make the reckoning so vile that the original ground-zero gains protection from being reached.

The new injustice then becomes another ground-zero.

Wrong becomes drain.
Drain creates demand.
Demand draws judgement.
Judgement unlocks extraction.
Advantage twists the process.
The twist creates new wrongs.

Cheap fulfilment feeds the hunger it appears to satisfy.

Something quieter is consumed as well. Absolute innocence carries the awareness that no life is merely the point at which its tributaries became visible. When judgement reduces the life to that point, relation becomes leverage, conscience becomes an extraction site and connection becomes debt.

Synchronization between lives breaks. Trust, intimacy and collaborative presence fade. Oneness is consumed in procuring the appearance of resolution, and the loss of that oneness becomes another hunger - another source of demand for more consuming.

This is not an invention, endorsement or schemata. It is something dark appearing to grow by wearing - and drawing power from - the light.

Seeing the pull may make it less able to recruit unnoticed.
